Thrive in 2023 - Empowering Employees in the Modern Workplace

Café DDI Virtual Roundtable

As we start 2023, we are greeted with a host of challenges from the get-go. A looming recession in major economies such as China, Europe and US, and persistent inflation in the domestic Philippine market are constraining businesses to be conservative on capital expenditures and are forcing organizations to place a greater focus on managing costs to achieve their business objectives with less.  Additionally, the Great Resignation has already left leadership bench strength half-empty.  Compounding these challenges, current employees continue to suffer the long tail of burnout due to the increased workload and stress caused by the pandemic.  Organizations are losing the war for talent and don’t have enough of the right people to achieve even nominal growth.

In the face of the challenges presented by the current economic climate and talent drain, it is critical for leaders to be active talent advocates. Leaders need to be proactive in identifying talented employees with high leadership potential and create opportunities for their development.

DDI has partnered with Zalamea to host a roundtable discussion with senior leaders as they share their insights and experiences on managing employee expectations and productivity in 2023’s modern workplace. Our panel of experts will discuss strategies for setting clear expectations, ensuring effective communication, fostering engagement and collaboration among remote and in-office employees, monitoring, and measuring productivity, and using data to make decisions.

Our roundtable will be moderated by Roland Ruiz, Managing Director of DDI Philippines. Together with our speakers, Edward Lau, Chief Executive Director of Pointline Enterprise Private Limited, and Raymond Rufino, Chief Executive Officer of NEO.
